Call to Makers Furniture Design Workshop Exhibition & Opening Event at AIA|LA

A new initiative by CO Architects, the Call to Makers Furniture Workshop took place over nine months, where individuals and teams designed, engineered and fabricated original works through reuse, upcycling and inventive craftsmanship. To commemorate the completion of the program, CO is hosting an exhibition and opening event in collaboration with AIA|LA to bring together architects, designers, artists and the community to celebrate the art of craftsmanship and creativity. Opening Celebration - July 27th
Join CO for a special opening event, where workshop participants and guests will share insights into the design process and fabrication. CO panelists include Principal Fabian Kremkus, a lifelong maker with roots in carpentry, and Senior Associate Chun Liu, an architect with a passion for balancing technical complexity with human-centered design.

Exhibition - July 20th to August 10th
The free exhibition at the AIA|LA headquarters will showcase the final creations of this inaugural cohort of designers.
