Meet the Associate Principals – Parini Mehta

What is your favorite city? Why? 

I love cities that are alive with food, fashion, nightlife, culture, and of course architecture! Mumbai, Milan, and NYC are some of my favorites.

If you could travel to a different time, when would it be? 

I wouldn’t want to go back in time and re-face some of the societal flaws that we have overcome, but my secret dream is to be a young adult in the 1950’s listening to Motown in undercover night clubs in Detroit.

What are your hobbies?

So many! Working out, trying new recipes, hosting friends, reading, Indian dancing, and adventure-seeking in general.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

I can’t attribute this quote to one source, but it is something that I come back to again and again: “Compare leads to despair.” Remembering this always helps me stay grounded and true to my own self, passions, and goals. 

Which project did you find the most rewarding to work on?

That’s like picking my favorite child! Each project has its own unique aspect that challenges me and that I find rewarding. We work with so many smart, dedicated and passionate people from clients, end-users, consultants, to contractors. The most rewarding part of any project is the relationships I build with all these people.

What is something you learned in school that you still think about / use every day?

Work hard, play hard 😊.
