Celebrating the Topping Out of the UCI Health-Irvine Hospital Building

Last Thursday, the CO and Hensel Phelps design-build team celebrated the topping out of the UCI Health-Irvine Hospital! The project team, client and stakeholders gathered to witness the topping out of the final structural beam, which marks the completion of the building's framework. Principal in Charge Tom Chessum made a speech about the project's impressive progress and the impact it will have on healthcare in the region. Once complete in 2025, the seven-story, 350,000-SF hospital building will finalize the UCI Health-Irvine campus.
