ASU Health’s new headquarters will anchor a transformative academic and research destination in downtown Phoenix, positioning Arizona State University at the forefront of health innovation. The 174,000-GSF facility will house the university’s first medical school, the John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering, alongside shared interdisciplinary spaces for the School of Technology for Public Health, the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation and the Health Observatory at ASU.
ASU Health will emphasize technology-enabled learning, integrating artificial intelligence, data science, augmented and virtual reality and industry partner suites. Students will engage in interdisciplinary training across medicine, engineering, technology and the humanities, preparing a new generation of physicians equipped to transform care delivery and improve health outcomes.
The building will feature advanced simulation environments, clinical skills, flexible classrooms and collaborative research spaces that support innovation and team-based learning. Situated within a leading bioscience corridor and developed in partnership with the City of Phoenix, ASU Health is envisioned as a civic landmark and a catalyst for regional health, research and economic impact.
