The Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University is the first new school of medicine in New Jersey in over 50 years. The facility addresses New Jersey’s shortage of healthcare providers with cutting-edge learning and training space for a new four-year school of medicine founded by Hackensack Meridian Health and supported by Seton Hall University, as well as Seton Hall’s graduate nursing and allied health education programs.
The project is an adaptive reuse of a multi-story research laboratory building on a former biomedical research campus. The centerpiece is a multi-modal virtual healthcare training center containing clinical skills, mannequin simulation, physiology labs, occupational therapy labs, and activities of daily living lab, nursing skills and health assessment bed labs. This is a CO|FXCollaborative joint venture project.
